Gerald Lau

Practices business law and represents companies at all stages of the business cycle from startup until maturity. He has assisted businesses with entity formation, initial financing, product licensing, manufacturing and distribution agreements, real estate transactions, joint ventures, subsequent debt and equity financing including bridge loans and public offerings, corporate governance, regulatory compliance, and mergers and acquisitions. He has also represented clients in complex litigation. Mr. Lau has represented a wide variety of clients from technology startups and emerging biotechnology companies to established financial institutions and multinational Fortune 500 Companies. He attended the University of California at Berkeley where he received his bachelor of science degree, magna cum laude, from the Haas School of Business and his doctor of jurisprudence degree from the Boalt Hall School of Law also at the University of California at Berkeley. He was admitted to the California Bar in 2000.
